System, SMTP & integrations

All platform settings live in one Settings entry (/super-admin/settings). Its Overview page is a directory of every settings screen — use it as your starting point. This page summarizes each area and deep-links to the detailed guide.

The scheduler is the heartbeat Almost everything on this page relies on the scheduler: cron must run php artisan schedule:run every minute. Locally the queue uses sync; production should use database + a worker. See Queues, jobs & scheduler and Cron & queue workers.

System Health (/super-admin/settings/system-health)

One-click maintenance for shared hosting (no SSH needed):

Action What it runs
Clear all caches php artisan optimize:clear
Apply pending migrations php artisan migrate --force
Rebuild caches Clear then re-warm config / route / view caches
Create storage symlink Recreates public/storage (for fresh installs)
Restart queue workers Gracefully restarts workers to pick up new code

The page also shows a WhatsApp Platform health card with cross-tenant aggregates — connection status, messages and failures. For deeper WhatsApp guidance see WhatsApp Business API.

Destructive-looking actions are guarded In demo mode these actions are hidden. On a live install, each asks for confirmation first. "Apply pending migrations" is safe — applied migrations are skipped.

Script Settings (/super-admin/settings/script-settings)

The big one. Sections:

  • Reporting & Localisation — currency, timezone, date format, language.
  • Backups — the auto nightly backup toggle gates leadhub:backup at 02:00. If the toggle is off, no backups run. See Backups & restore.
  • AI — provider (openai or deepseek), API key, model (default deepseek-v4-flash) and base URL.
  • Voice — transcription provider (openai whisper or deepgram), key, model and language.
  • Public Marketing Landing — landing page variant for the public site.
  • Outbound Email SMTP — mailer (smtp / sendmail / log / array), host, port, encryption, username, password, from address and name. The password is never revealed. Send Test Email sends a dry-run using the values in the form.

Configure SMTP on day one Password resets, onboarding links, invoices and notifications all depend on working email. If SMTP is unset, the dashboard setup checklist will stay red. Deep dive: Email & SMTP.

Branding and Email Branding

  • Branding (/super-admin/settings/branding) — product name and colours used across panels and the app.
  • Email Branding (/super-admin/settings/email-branding) — the look of outgoing emails.

Static Pages and Languages

  • Static Pages (/super-admin/settings/static-pages) — manage the public legal/marketing pages (terms, privacy, etc.).
  • Languages (/super-admin/settings/locales) — add and edit locales.

Modules and Updates

  • Modules (/super-admin/settings/modules) — enable/disable platform modules.
  • Updates (/super-admin/settings/updates) — check for and apply update packages.

Security: reCAPTCHA

reCAPTCHA (/super-admin/settings/recaptcha-settings) — keys used on public forms and the Super Admin login disambiguation. See Security model.

Automations (/super-admin/settings/automations)

Platform-level automations with a flow view and run history. The list, builder and run history are the standard surfaces: /super-admin/settings/automations, /…/create, /…/{record}/flow, /…/{record}/run-history.

Meta Developer and Mobile App Login

These have their own pages in this documentation because they deserve the detail:

The audit log — where it actually lives

Status: not currently implemented. A Super Admin audit-log screen. There is no audit page registered in the /super-admin panel today.

What exists instead:

  • Every business has its own Audit Log in the client panel (/admin/reports/audit-log) covering that workspace's activity.
  • Super Admin actions are still written to the audit_logs table with audit tags such as tenant-management, impersonation, agency_staff and guided_onboarding — you can query them if you need a platform-wide trail.

Expected result

You can find any platform setting from /super-admin/settings, run maintenance actions without SSH, and know which detailed guide covers each area.

Common mistakes

  • Editing .env by hand when a settings screen exists. Script Settings writes .env through the built-in editor — prefer the UI.
  • Forgetting the backup toggle. Nightly backups are opt-in; verify on a fresh install.
  • Assuming settings apply instantly without cron. Scheduled jobs (backups, lifecycle, sweeps) only run if schedule:run is wired.
  • Looking for a Super Admin audit page. It does not exist yet; see the note above.
  • Pasting an SMTP password and expecting to see it again. Passwords are write-only.

Troubleshooting

Symptom What to check
Emails not sending SMTP values + Send Test Email; then /docs/integrations/smtp-email
AI assistant returns errors Provider key + model under Script Settings → AI
Backups missing The toggle under Script Settings → Backups, and cron
WhatsApp Platform card red Run through WhatsApp not sending
Settings page 500s after an update System Health → Clear all caches, then Apply pending migrations

Technical details

  • Settings cluster: App\Filament\SuperAdmin\Clusters\SettingsCluster + SettingsOverview; routes under /super-admin/settings/*.
  • Script Settings saves .env through the EnvEditor; guarded jobs: leadhub:backup (02:00 daily).
  • System Health actions: optimize:clear, migrate --force, cache rebuild, storage:link, queue restart (demo-mode guarded).
  • Audit: audit_logs table; tenant page App\Filament\Pages\Reports\AuditLogPage; SA audit tags include tenant-management, impersonation, agency_staff, guided_onboarding.
  • Retention: leadhub:purge-audit-logs (180d audit / 30d login / 90d billing events).
