Finish & go live
What happens after the wizard completes — what Zodiac Tech does next, where to re-open setup, and what skipped steps mean.
Finish & go live
You made it: the wizard shows "Setup complete". This page explains what that screen means, what happens behind the scenes next, and where to go if you ever need to revisit setup.
Who this is for
- Business owners and admins who have just finished the guided onboarding.
- Anyone coming back later asking "what did we skip?" or "how do I re-open setup?".
Difficulty: Easy · Time: 2–3 minutes reading · Prerequisites: the wizard's steps are settled (all completed or explicitly skipped).
What the completion screen shows
- "Setup complete" with the message "Our team is preparing your campaigns. You don't need to do anything right now. We'll notify you when your campaigns are ready."
- A checklist of everything you configured — steps you deliberately skipped are marked "(skipped)", so everyone can see exactly what is still open.
- A Go to Dashboard button.
Expected result: clicking Go to Dashboard takes you into the CRM; the Setup chip disappears from the top bar and the CRM no longer redirects you to the wizard.
Your setup is now verified, not assumed Every completed step was checked against the real system — the pipeline exists, the forms are ticked, the Meta token works, and a test lead flowed through. Skipped steps are the only soft spots, and they are visible to you and to us.
What happens after you finish
- Zodiac Tech is notified automatically that your setup is complete.
- Our team works through its internal delivery checklist — CRM configuration, sales-process review, lead-routing review, campaign setup, creatives, tracking, QA, launch, monitoring.
- You do not need to do anything until we tell you your campaigns are ready. Campaign work sits with our ad specialists; your CRM is already live and receiving leads from the forms you connected.
Leads are already flowing Completing setup does not switch lead intake on or off — it was already live the moment forms were ticked and the Meta connection was healthy. The campaigns our team prepares bring more volume, not the first volume.
Where to re-open setup
| Where | What it opens | When to use it |
|---|---|---|
| The Setup NN% chip in the top bar (open drawer → Continue Setup) | The guided wizard at your first unsettled step | While setup is still in progress |
Directly visiting /admin/guided-setup |
The wizard (or the completion screen) | Any time you want to review the checklist |
| Help Center header action "Re-run setup wizard" | The classic onboarding walkthrough | To replay the earlier guided walkthrough, not the step wizard |
Skipped steps keep looking after themselves A skipped step stays visible to Super Admin as "(skipped)", and the moment its real condition is met — you tick a lead form, a device registers, WhatsApp connects — the resolver auto-upgrades it to completed. Nothing is forgotten; skipped is not "failed".
Common mistakes
- Thinking setup completion means campaigns are live. It means your CRM is ready; campaign preparation starts now and you will be notified separately.
- Re-running the wizard to "fix" a skipped step. Just do the real thing — select the form, connect WhatsApp, register a phone — and the step completes itself.
- Panicking that the Setup chip vanished. That is the success state: the chip only shows while something is unfinished.
- Looking for per-step re-editing in the wizard. Steps are derived from real state; adjust the underlying area instead (Automations, Lead Assignment, Connections, Team).
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Wizard still redirects you before the dashboard | At least one required step is unsettled | Open the wizard, find the unfinished step (drawer shows ⚠/● markers) and settle it |
| A skipped step never completes later | The underlying action did not actually happen | Perform it for real (tick the form, connect WhatsApp) — then reopen the wizard |
| You cannot find the chip | It hides at 100% completion | The completion screen is reachable directly at /admin/guided-setup |
| "Request Action" arrived from our team | We noticed something needs your help (e.g. a stuck step) | It tells you exactly what to do; open the wizard and settle that step |
Technical details
- Completion:
App\Services\GuidedOnboarding\OnboardingService::sync()audits the transition (guided_onboarding.completed) and sends the one-time setup complete notification to Zodiac Tech (internal notifiersetupComplete). - The wizard treats the workspace as complete when the header row is
COMPLETED:GuidedSetup::mount()then jumps straight to the completion step, and the top-bar chip (App\Livewire\GuidedSetupChip) renders nothing. - Required vs skippable:
App\Support\OnboardingSteps— required steps must be completed or skipped to finish; skipped rows remain in the SA client onboarding dashboard. - Super Admin visibility:
/super-admin/meta-ads/client-onboardingshows progress, current step, payment, Meta connection, and a ⚠ "stuck" flag for steps settled longer than 24 hours; the Request Action button messages you in-app and by email. - Scheduled safety nets: a stuck-sweep runs daily at 08:15, and
php artisan leadhub:guided-onboarding-syncbackfills/repairs step rows for existing workspaces.
